His professional experience in law, private equity, and business inspired him to concentrate on the needs of decision-makers: executives and board members. Born in Moscow, Russia, Evgeny started his career as a lawyer at Noerr LLP, a leading European law firm, specializing in mergers & acquisitions and antitrust (competition) law. At Noerr, he represented Daimler, Siemens, Google, AMD, Motorola, Alcoa, Flextronics, and other American and European corporations and investment groups, which motivated him to continue his career internationally. He obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Chicago Law School, where he concentrated on business and received an outstanding service award. Evgeny continued his career in private equity while pursuing additional graduate studies at the University of Chicago for several more years. He has published articles and book chapters on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, antitrust law, and other business subjects.
Peter has over two decades of management and executive experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, fashion, and fine art industries, primarily in the USA and China. He advises HPIS on investment sourcing, analysis, and fundraising efforts. Peter is the President of the Qing Yuan Friendship Association, a non-profit organization that provides support to companies seeking to establish business connections between China and the USA. He holds a Master’s degree in art analysis & investment and is an expert on international trade
James obtained dual degrees in Computational Science & Engineering and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He focuses on data collection, database management, advanced computational data analytics (machine learning models), and data-driven decision-making (quantitative trading strategies) for HPIS. He has developed an AI automatic trading system based on random forest and reinforcement Q-learning model, which uses technical indicators as input. He participates in the Udacity “Artificial Intelligence for Trading” Nano-degree program in collaboration with WorldQuant.
